Encouragement

Life can be very hard at times. And from time to time we all need encouragement.

During those times life has thrown me curve balls, extreme challenges or hardships I found wonderful encouragement and emotional stability through the scriptures. They have instilled hope, brought peace of mind, and renewed compassion and love for my fellow man. I see the Bible as being the most valuable gift ever given to mankind.

With that in mind, feel free to join me so we reach out to others who might be faltering in their day to day life, or their walk with Christ, by sharing verses and short thoughts that we have found uplifting in our journey.

Simply email me with a special thought, encouraging quote or your favorite verse with it's reference. (And if you wish, include a few words describing the reason it's your favorite.) And I will repost it on this page with your user or first name.

Encouraging words...
In the Bible Jacob was a cheater, Peter had a temper, David had an affair, Noah got drunk, Jonah ran from God, Paul was a murderer, Gideon was insecure, Miriam was a gossiper, Martha was a worrier, Thomas was a doubter, Sara was impatient, Elijah was moody, Moses stuttered, Zaccheus was short, Abraham was old, and Lazarus was dead.... God doesn't call the QUALIFIED, He qualifies the CALLED! (From the Facebook, Jesus Christ is My Redeemer page)
I love the message from this one because it's a wonderful reminder that my life does not need to be perfect for God to be able to use me.  (Evelyn)
You are valuable because you exist. Not because of what you do or what you have done, but simply because you are. –Max Lucado
I like this one because it reminds me that God loves me. I am valued, not because of what I do... but because of who I am. His child.
